What a fantastic show, our learners make us proud!
As ever our learners are making us tremendously proud this week as they wow us with this Year's school show, Birchwood's version of Beauty and the Beast. Our Performing Arts department have taken an old Disney favourite and given it a modern twist with a clever blend of songs and new scenes.
Our performers are outstanding with a wealth of talent in singing, dancing and acting. Hermione really is the Belle of the ball and Cory's voice and melancholy rendition of the Beast is a real tear jerker. Michael is also hilarious as Lumiere and why does Bradley always play the baddie so well? (Remember the maniac dentist Last Year!).
The whole cast is amazing and all their dedication, commitment and hard work has really paid off. Well done to each and every one.
Thanks must go to all those who have worked so hard behind the scenes and also to Miss Senior, Ms Walsh and Mrs Burrows and the rest of the production team.
